When the Democrat party took control as the majority in the State Legislative House, Senate and Governor?s office, all right to life bills were crushed without even the opportunity for debate in committee. However, they were not able to stop pro-life legislators from proposing an amendment to the budget bill.
Below is the vote record of the legislators who voted against the amendment that would have stopped an additional million for family planning, which is the fund the abortion industry has used to increase their abortion business. (We will publish this record on our website for future reference.)
We want to thank all the legislators that voted for the Alons Amendment 1504 and for their preparation to educate the majority party of the increase in federal Medicaid to organizations like Planned Parenthood. Iowa is one of the highest recipients to the Federal Medicaid and the growth of Planned Parenthood is a result of that increase.
