Caitlyn Dixson is the executive director of Iowa Right to Life. She brings her years of experience in Iowa politics and non-profits, as well as a personal passion for protecting life. She is a native of Pella.
After walking out on her abortion appointment at age 16, and choosing to parent her son, her heart for the pro-life movement began in a personal motivation. There are no issues as close to her heart as protecting the most innocent. She is thrilled to get to use her commitment to the unborn every day in her work.
Prior to joining Iowa Right to Life, Caitlyn worked in non-profit communications, as well as online media. She is a graduate of Central College where she earned her B.A. in Sociology and Spanish. During her college years, she completed an internship with the Iowa Senate Republican Caucus during the 2017 legislative session and served as a lobbyist for Families United Action Network during the 2018 legislative session. She has also worked on campaigns for multiple candidates during their run for the state legislature.
