Please email members of the Iowa House Human Resources Committee TODAY and TOMORROW. Ask them to support Rep. Walt Rogers bill, House File 2033. This pro-life bill requires that a physician perform an ultrasound prior to an abortion. The physician would also be required to offer the woman an opportunity to view the ultrasound, among other provisions.

This bill is being introduced to halt the practice of abortions by webcam in Iowa and require abortionists to comply with the Food and Drug Administration’s protocol on RU-486.

When the Democrat party took control as the majority in the State Legislative House, Senate and Governor’s office, all right to life bills were crushed without even the opportunity for debate in committee. However, they were not able to stop pro-life legislators from proposing an amendment to the budget bill.
