SBA List grassroots in Iowa have generated more than 600 Calls, 3,400 emails thanking Sen. Grassley for letting the people have a say!

Washington, D.C.? ? Susan B. Anthony List and Iowa Right to Life today praised Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Chairman of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, for his continued resolve to let the people have a say in who fills the Supreme Court vacancy left by Justice Scalia.

SBA List president Marjorie Dannenfelser said:
?Despite pressure from sustained and organized campaigns by the abortion lobby, Senator Grassley has been unwavering in his commitment to ensure the people have a say in who fills this court vacancy. President Obama should not have the chance to stack the court with another pro-abortion Justice.?

Jenifer Bowen, Executive Director of Iowa Right to Life, also praised Grassley saying:
?Senator Grassley, well-known for his ?Full Grassley? tours of all 99 counties in Iowa every year, listens intently to the needs of his constituents.? It?s no surprise to Iowans that Senator Grassley would remain so resolute ? not only for the will of the people, but for the protection of the U.S. Constitution. We are profoundly grateful to him as he continues to resist the unrelenting blows that are coming from a pro-abortion President and the abortion industry.? Their fierce attacks against Senator Grassley say everything we need to know about Merrick Garland.?

The day after Garland?s nomination, pro-life groups launched a grassroots mobilization campaign at www.ProtectTheCourt.com where activists can send an immediate message to their U.S. Senators.

To date, Susan B. Anthony List?s Iowa activists have generated more than 600 calls and 3,400 emails to Sen. Grassley?s office and attended his public town halls. Dannenfelser and Bowen also published an op-ed in The Des Moines Register thanking Sen. Grassley for his commitment to the pro-life cause and defense of the Constitution.
